COURSES
Beginners Diving Course
This course will develop the basic diving skills required to undertake competitive starts.
Competitive Starts & Turns course
We appreciate that some of you may have already completed a diving course, however this course will include diving off blocks at both the deep and shallow end of Tudor Grange pool. Without this extra tuition, swimmers cannot be awarded the Preliminary Competitive Start Award or Full Award. They are therefore unable to dive at the shallow end and are disadvantaged as team members when we attend galas.
Some of the most common reasons for disqualifications are incorrectly performed starts and turns.
It is quite normal to have to complete these courses more than once to fully master the techniques.
