If you have any queries, please e-mail bbsc@beeb.net and a member of the Coaching Team or Committee will get back to you as soon as possible.

The club is keen to create an environment that is safe and fun for the children. We pride ourselves at Blythe Barracudas in the friendly approaches we use as a committee and during training sessions. We value every child and parent who is part of the club and welcome any new swimmers making them feel at home.

We are a committee run club and all committee members have been elected to their positions. We are all parents of swimmers in the club. The AGM is every year in July where the committee is elected into positions again. The committee at present is:

Membership

We currently have just over 100 members and the club is always looking for more  swimmers.

Our SWIMMING LESSONS teach all four competitive strokes to a high standard, concentrating on good techniques. Our teachers are committed and dedicated enthusiasts with many years experience in the sport. There is a structured pathway from our swimming lessons to competitive squads for those swimmers who show potential and may be interested.

Our COACHING SQUADS cater for swimmers up to the age of seventeen years. Sessions are available six days a week at various pools and we allow swimmers to attend as many or as few sessions as they wish. Swimming is an excellent form of exercise and the flexible approach that we operate, allows children to enjoy their swimming even though it may not be their main sport.

If your child is interested in improving their swimming strokes, stamina or taking part in competitive events please get in touch. For more information contact our membership secretary Laura Farquhar on 01564 770 197.

Sponsorship

If anyone is aware of any organisations or individuals that would like to offer sponsorship or a donation to the club, please contact us at bbsc@beeb.net

Child welfare

The welfare of all our swimmers is very important.   It is essential that swimmers and/or parents discuss any problems or concerns with the commitee, either at poolside, or e -mail us at bbsc@beeb.net. Also ensure that all accidents, no matter how minor, are reported to any member of the coaching team or committee. For ASA child welfare policy please visit the ASA website:
